MX2 rider PJ Stratton qualified with the 9th best time and finished the day with a 12th Overall in the Main.

MX1 Matt Babbitt had the 3rd best qualifying lap but had some trouble in the Main with a first corner take out after almost grabbing the holeshot and a couple crashes but he did manage to salvage a 18th Overall out of it.

We have plans for a new TM racing team for the 2012 Canadian Motocross season that will be announced soon and we will be attending several Canadian Nationals as well as competing in the Quebec Provincials. The new team will make its debut at the Toronto Supercross and will also attend a couple US Motocross Nationals.

CASTELLETTO- The final battle of the Italian International and the lovely and fast track of Castelltto of Branduzzo is discussed, Saturday worked out regularly, putting in evidence the great physical shape of Thomas Chareyre, who gained the pole position.

Sunday was strongly determinated by the torrential rain that lasted all morning during the trials. The afternoon program was postponed a couple of hours because of the storm, but with the return of the sunshine the organizers worked impeccably to restore the track to normal conditions , allowing the pilots to dispute the race in perfect conditions.

The first manche- The official of TM Racing takes off hard at the start who does not go wrong with the Hole Shot, behind him is Nastran and Beltrami followed in turn by Lazzarini and Adrien Chareyre. Thomas quickly picks up the rhythm and gains territory on his followers, Lazzarini climbs hard and so does Adrien Chareyre. The race gets enthusiastic also in virtue of the fact that Thomas can win the title for the first time, this also for Lazzarini.

Cutting victoriously through the finishing line, the new International champion THOMAS CHAREYRE who brings home the title with one manche in advance , first title also for ALEX SERAFINI in the new clothing of the TEAM MANAGER.

Second Manche- Ivan Lazzarini takes off first this time followed by Thomas Chareyre, who can now ride a little more relaxed seeing that the title is secure, but Thomas in the end does not relax he, already in the first lap passes in the lead, Nastran also overtakes Lazzarini.

The positions remain unvaried up to the second chequered flag of the day that waves victoriously for Thomas Chareyre.

At the end of the race and with a title secured a radiant ALEX SERAFINI wishes to thank all the people who work to build these splendid victories, a thank you, also, to the sponsors who each year support The PESARESE FACTORY.

Gravity Race Report
Date: 23.07.2011
Event: International Youthweekend
Location: Boekel (NL)

2nd place for the GRAVITY 125 TM Team in the dealerscup

3x Top 10 for the GRAVITY youth riders

It’s summer in Holland and everybody was looking forward to the youthweekend in Boekel – almost the whole team entered this event because saturday there was an extra event: the famous DEALERSCUP was back and our team wanted to show their sandskills !

The weatherforcasts were not so good but the track was in perfect condition and the races started with perfect weatherconditions. In the evening it started to rain and it kept on raining the whole night and almost the whole sunday – so the club could only cancel the event for sunday – even this sandtrack was not rideable anymore.

Sam Korneliussen from Denmark came right from the Everts & Friends event from Genk and had to switch from the hard pack to the deep sand. You can see that Sam has trained a lot in Holland and that he prefers the deep sandtracks. 10th in the first heat and 9th in the 2nd – total result was 9th overall.

An extra class was added to this event – the 125 2strokes – and this class is getting bigger and bigger !

Janno Schmidt came all the way from Estonia and Jonas Larson came for his last 125 race from Denmark. Both riders did a good job in the timepractice and could choose their startingpositions on 7th and 11th place. Jonas took a good start in the first heat on a 7th place but crashed on the big table still finishing 10th – Janno started on 14th place and worked his way up to 8th place. Both riders wanted to do better in the 2nd heat and Jonas again took a good start as 7th – Janno’s start was really bad and he started his 2nd race on the 16th place. Time was to short but still Janno managed to work his way up finishing 10th behind his teammate Jonas who was 9th.

In the total result the 8th and 9th place were for the Gravity TM riders.

In the dealercup we had 3 teams competing.

Team 1 was a 125 2stroke team with Glenn Uten, Marcel Nijsten and Ralf Schmidt

Team 2 was a mixed team with Maurice Faessen (250 2t) , Patrick van Leeuwen (450Fi) and Michael Hribsek (450F)

Team 3 was a 450 4stroke team with Rene van Aken , André Neubauer and Marcel Klein

The 125 riders did a really good job – finishing almost all results in the Top 10. In the dealercup classification they finished in 2nd place.

Team 2 had some pretty good results but finished overall on the 5th place.

Team 3 had a bit of bad luck and had to be satisfied with 13th place.

A great event ended with a nice party and a lot of rain in the night.

Unfortunately for the 85cc and 125cc riders because they wanted to improve their results.

We will be back next year and we would like to thank Joined Forces and the MCC Boekel for this event.

The Sagittario di Latina circuit has hosted the second trail of the “ International and Italian supermotor Championship , after the novelty of the trail opening, that ran from the gate,on the motor cross style.

The Frenchman Thomas Chareyre won for the second time .

Thus continious the positive series of Thomas Chareyre , and the new Team Manager Alex Serafini who defines the Latina race,as the best race disputed by Thomas since he has led TM Factory.,He held command with aggresivness from the second manche with alarming determination. These are the words spoken by Alex who uses the occasion , to thank all the team members for their good work, not only for who follows the races, but , also those who make the preperations in the factory in Pesaro.

A perfect weekend for the GRAVITY TM riders!

The season now has really started and perfect weather conditions made this weekend even nicer. The team has moved to the DMX races for the first time and dominated the 125 2-stroke class in Eersel (NL). Janno Schmidt (Estonia) showed his speed in the timed practice and made a good impression on his TM with the 2nd fastest laptime.

The start in the first heat was really bad for Janno and it took him a long time to get to the front of the pack – he finished only 2 seconds behind the leader on a 2nd place.

His 2nd start was a little better but now he got fast into 2nd spot and could get into battle with the leader. Janno passed him in the middle of the race and was able to build up a good lead and finished almost 20 seconds in front of him!

Danny Matthey has switched from the 450cc back to the 125cc this season. He struggled a bit during the timed practice but showed a good speed during the races and finished on the 3rd step of the podium.

Best starter of the TM league was Ralf Schmidt who managed to get 2 great starts in 2nd place and could make an 8th overall… not bad for a veteran between the young guys. Marcel Nijsten finished 12th and Maurice van Herten 18th overall.

The 2nd race of the Dutch ONK race took place in Halle (NL). The track is not one of Marielle de Mol’s favorites but still she wanted to make the best results on her 250Fi ES TM. In the first race she could get quite easily into the first spot and she was leading the race until the last lap where Larissa Papenmeier passed her and she finished 2nd. In the 2nd heat Marielle started in 3rd spot, it took some laps before she could pass Shirley Verkade and finished on the second place – Larissa had built up a big lead and so she decided to play it smart and take the 2nd place. In the ONK Championship Marielle now is back in #1.

In Biest-Houtakker (NL) the first Lady’s race of the MON Federation took place. The MXN team was there and dominated that class. Lianne Muilwijk showed a real good speed on the TM 144 and finished 2nd in the first race and won the 2nd race with a big lead. Iris Wilems, also on the 144cc, gets more confident on the TM and finished 12th that day.

Podium places of this weekend:
